Interesting. G B Shaw was very famous for his repartees. People even perceived him as arrogant at times. There is this story in which he was approached by a rather attractive female (who was a beauty queen) and proposed marriage to him saying something on the lines of "think about it, our kids will have your brains and my beauty". Shaw was quick to retort, "what if lady, they endup with my beauty and your brains" :-)).
