I don't know if he checked my mails when he got this letter *laffs*. That'd tell me if he were a cool cat or not. Ahd oh, I do miss one of the best bosses that I worked with :-)
Hmmm....Didn't you watch that half-comedy show "Batman" every day at 6 on Star World? Not that it was worth watching. But still, it was hard to miss. There weren't many channels then and 6 PM is prime-time for school-kids.
We did not have 'Star TV' (as it was called then) at home. I used to watch Vikram Baital shows, duck tales etc. The usual DD fare :-). I remember Spiderman was aired on DD, but I am not sure if Batman was.
Comic-books can be really good. But most are crap.
I like Batman because of the villains. I have "The Dark Knight Returns" series (by Frank Miller, the same person who did "Sin City"), but I think that you have to already know the villains to enjoy that comic-book or "graphic novel" as they prefer to call it.
P.S: It was "Star Plus" then, not "Star World". Unnecessary info? :)
One reason I never picked up any batman comics when I was a kid was because the comics (of the few that I actually did) were all dark and not pretty :-|
Aiyooo!! The sequence is, First mail: Link, second mail: Agent, Third mail: Head/president/director whatever that is :D So, you see I was speaking futuristic-ly and yet not too far ahead :]
