The Venture Bros. at paradisa
paradisa is a medium- to fast-paced community-based panfandom game set in a magical castle that can grant you your greatest desires ... or worst nightmares. It's like a magical Big Brother, except with fewer David Bowie-penned tributes. Everyone loses something upon their arrival to the castle, and the world changes seemingly at a whim.
The game allows for any kind of CR imaginable. You want crack? It's here! You want super-serious relationship angst? Also here! You want to do something with your life? Plot against your arch-enemy? Make new arch-enemies? Here, here, and also here! There is an over-arching, ongoing plot (coined "World Plot") that rears its ugly head periodically as well, in case you're into the whole, you know, saving the world thing.

How it happened is a subject of heated debate, but one solid fact remains: the Earth that was a home to all of humanity is gone. People lived, worked, and died. Nations rose and fell, as nations are wont to do. Time passed, things changed, and by the time the intelligence from a few galaxies away happened upon what was left it was already finished. The only substantial evidence left to piece together our story was what humanity had made: fictionAfter years of development and disaster, these aliens created the city of Taxon, a home for as close an approximation to life from Earth as they can manage. Placed safely in a large cavern on the inside of an abandoned moon, the project is a blend of archeology and highly advanced programming. With a few lines of code, buildings are built or restored. Plants can grow. Lives can be created. It's not a perfect or exact science; things go wrong often as the intelligence adjusts its methods and adapts new data ( ... )

In RP, when you take a bunch of different mech series and throw them together... it becomes srwug_alpha_rp!
The game's fairly new, so it's pretty easy to get in to. Some mild AU-ing is done to fit the series into the game's setting and mix with all the other series, but the mods work with you to work it out.
The Basics:
• Community + AIM-Based, Panfandom
• Mecha-based; All characters must be from a series with mecha in it. If you're unsure if a series would qualify, as the mods. I mean, we have a few /m/agical girl series, so...
• NOT a jam-jar; canons are tweeked/semi-AU'd to fit into the world's setting ( ... )

Game Details: Apps will be open in mid-february, by which time ”soul_campaign” will be on Dreamwidth.
Soul Campaign is a community-based, medium-paced game that has activity spikes during new arrivals and plots. There’s no forced sex or anything like that, and it is plot-based. It’s set in the world of Soul Eater, but you don’t have to be familiar with the canon to play. I’m willing and available to answer any and all questions that you have!
