I cannot believe that no one has commented on this yet. It is really good and people are missing out on something.

Aww thank you. I expect 1945 and young older characters (if that makes sense) is a specialised thing. It's sweet of you to be so encouraging, thank you. *hugs*

This is... wow.

Honestly, speechless. Wow. You brought so much life into Minerva's character, I adored it. Sometimes it's hard to picture them as young adults... but, yikes. Dead on.

...Will you marry me? o_o

I'm especially glad when you history type bods like things like this. Thank you Maddie for saying so, your comment means so much.

I've been thinking about this for a long time. It was one of the firm candidates for my NaNo this year, but it didn't form into my mind properly until later and I didn't want to 'waste' the idea on writing it without being properly prepared. It's taken me about a fortnight to write the introduction, but I'm going with the flow now!

Thank you for the proposal also. Will we have a long engagement?

You know? It might be better with you writing it freely, without the stress of NaNo. Just give it proper thought, and write more when it feels like it's time for it. This was marvelous; I always enjoy watching your writing evolve into other areas. Thank goodness for your fics. They make me Squee with fangirlish delight.

That depends. Would you prefer a Winter wedding, or Summer?

You're right. I'm going to enjoy writing it, without the demands of time or word counts niggling at me.

I'm really thrilled that you enjoyed it, and to even think of someone squealing in fangirlish delight is more of a thrill to me than you can imagine! Thank you again.

I quite like spring and autumn myself. How about you?

Wow, how great!
Sad they never really talked, but you are brilliant!

Hope to read more from you, soon!

Thank you!

I wanted it to be an awkward situation between them. Minerva, as articulate as she is, doesn't have any role model for talking about such things (except for her friend Jocelyn) and Alastor is probably totally oblivious wanting to be an Auror first and foremost and hugely successful.

I'm glad you read it, and I'm really thrilled that you left a comment too. Thank you again.

Hehe, of course I'm leaving a comment, why wouldn't I?
It's just brilliant, and sad, and anything really!
