I just finished reading We Used to Wait and thought it was amazing!! It was a great twist to the series and was wondering when you plan on posting the sequel? Meredith

Hey there! So I started the sequel to that story just about right after I finished the original fic, wrote a ton for it, and then got side-tracked with ideas. Ended up changing a million things, restarted it, and then got way too self-conscious of it and sort of put it on pause where it's been for the last four months. Everyone has their own super strong feelings on Kara and Lee and what characters would or wouldn't do... that I'm always left with the fear that people are just going to tear it apart for being what they consider OOC (to the canon story, at least) or too sappy and fluffy or whatever.
I kind of figured there wasn't a lot of interest from anyone in reading it so I lost all my motivation for it. This comment got me thinking about it again, though, and I'm hoping I'll get the muse to pick it back up.
I do have a LOT of it written that I could post, but I always feel a little uneasy posting things in-progress since I don't want to make people wait forever and ever for updates.

What a great surprise to know you are planning a sequel to this amazing story. I really hope you don't give up on this idea. The original story is just amazing as is your writing. I'll be looking forward to read your new creations. :)

Found this page when trying to find 'Watching You Without Me' for a very enjoyable re-read.
I have gotten deep into BSG this year and really loved all your fics and have been re-reading recently.
'We Used to Wait' is definitely my favourite fic in the whole fandom. Kara and Lee are so beautifully drawn and you feel their love so clearly without their issues being wiped away. And the story and the world around them are so engaging and clever. Would you ever share the parts of the sequel you wrote, even incomplete? I'd absolutely love to get a little insight into your vision for their time on Earth.
