Right, last year I wanted to drop this prompt but didn't get a chance:

That's a nice one! (Which, I realise, is a sentence that's only going to be understood right when within the context of an apocalypse prompt writing contest. Lol.)

Any, "And then they shut down the power all along the line,
and we got stuck in the tunnel where no lights shine." (Waiting for the end of the world, Elvis Costello)

Any, "And then they shut down the power all along the line,
and we got stuck in the tunnel where no lights shine." (Bad Moon Rising, Creedence Clearwater Revival)

Any, "But when I woke up this mornin'
Coulda sworn it was judgment day
The sky was all purple,
there were people runnin' everywhere"
(1999, Prince)

Any, "I'm waking up to ash and dust
I wipe my brow and I sweat my rust
I'm breathing in the chemicals"
(Radioactive, Imagine Dragons)

Looks like one of the quotations were duplicated?

*sigh* I was trying to copy-paste from a lyrics page to get it correct, and they had some sort of flash-thingie that kept screwing up the copying. Looks like I didn't catch all the times it did so. Number two was supposed to be:

"I hear hurricanes ablowing.
I know the end is coming soon.
I fear rivers over flowing.
I hear the voice of rage and ruin."
(Bad Moon Rising, Creedence Clearwater Revival)

All the others are ok.

Any, For each day that passed, they missed the Goa'uld more.

Sam/Martouf|Lantash, for some reason they were immune to the mind control

SG-1 and any Tok'ra, when they returned through the gate, the SGC was empty of people. There were no signs of battle.
