Okay, this may be a stupid question, but ...

Do you have to submit a prompt in order to participate? I ask because the only prompts I can think of are "Something, something, something, and then the world ends" or "The world ends and then something, something, something." And, well, neither of those are particularly good. ;)

I do not know yet. I'm actually still working out the details, and I'll try to get some help with that. Right now I'm thinking that I'd require a certain number of prompts from each writer (more than one) and while you *can* request a certain scenario, I'm hoping people will get creative and use things like quotes, lyrics, graphics, art, etc... Because apocafic in and of itself is going to basically be about one thing, I'd like to keep things inspiring and yet free enough to keep people from feeling restricted.

I think I'll have to ask for three to five prompts from everyone just to make sure there's a glut of prompts for people to choose from. And hopefully we'll come up with lots of pairing prompts along with gen too. :)

(And you could always petition your flist to come up with prompts for you. No one says you absolutely must come up with them in your own brain. :P )
