I am thrilled that Obama will be our next President for so so so many reasons... but I think the biggest one is that he is against torture and against holding people in secret prisons with no trial.
I admit I am still nervous that it will somehow be pulled out from under us and am looking forward to the Inauguration so I can relax.

I don't know if I am feeling like its the 60's all over again, and times are different now, or if something is in the air.
Thoughts?

She keeps dreaming that he needs to stay behind glass.
I feel the anxiety and turmoil of the hatred.
He does remind me of Lincoln, Of MLK and in a way of the Kennedy's, though I think he is a man of higher principles than they were.
The plot that was already stopped was hatched here in TN where McCain won by a large majority. The perpetrators faced a Federal Grand Jury yesterday.
The day Obama dies by natural causes is the day I will believe that people have changed for the good.
The KKK is not organized like it used to be, it will be some renegade band of looser neo-nazi skinheads in a Reagan like attempt as you said.
He is a smart guy, hopefully he is being extra careful. If it were me, I would get Nation of Islam security, but I know he can't do that without people being even more stirred up.
I need to think peacefull thoughts and try to get centered this weekend. Block out some of the switling anxiety around.
I love your posts Cath! :)
