When I heard this weeks prompt, I first thought about what the proverb probably meant. It does make sense, and it's been said before. "God helps those who help themselves". Many people have voiced the opinion that I lack ambition but, from what I can tell, I'm happier than they are. Not much incentive to get more if it will just make me less happy in the long run.

Thank you. As I said above, to work harder to enjoy life less has never made sense to me. While I understand the concept of working to pay for the things that you want, the wealth is means to an end, not the end itself.
