Some how he had gotten separated again from those he had found. He hadn't meant too! He had just...wanted to try and find his brother. Or even some pasta. Or.. Or even some fruit would have been nice! Unfortunately, what little food he had managed to find hadn't helped him at all when he realized that the others were long gone ( ... )

Germany stayed quiet, watching on the PDA as the blue dot ventured closer to him, and closer. It seemed to simply be haphazardly wandering; the only direction it was clearly going was north. He wondered who it could possibly be.

From what he could see, the other individual was coming from behind him; Germany maneuvered as quietly as possible, staying low in tall grass and bushes. He faced the direction he knew the other was in.

. . . could he kill another nation? It wasn't permanent. . . besides it definitely depended on who it was. There were a few nations who he would be careful about tangling with, and a few others. . .

. . .well, killing them might be a merciful thing to do.

He simply waited until the other came in sight; if they did. He'd have to be careful.

Another small 'vee' escaped his mouth as he shuffled forward, not even being cautious of making noise. Twigs snapped and leaves rustled beneath his feet as he moved and the small pitiful sounds probably didn't help either. Even his stomach didn't care to be quiet with its loud grumbling.

"There's not even any fruits about! How can a place not have fruits?" the small Italian whined to nothing.

It was perhaps just when he was coming out into the open where the German was hidden that the Feliciano flailed wildly before slamming face first into the ground. A small protruding rock at the edge of his feet being the number one suspect in his sudden loud and painful accident.

"Owowow!!"

Small sounds the other nation made reached Germany's ears in the relative quiet of the forest. They were vaguely familiar, but it was only with the other's exclamation of pain that he knew exactly who it was.

And he promptly dropped his head into his hand. Why would fate, luck, chance, whatever anybody wanted to call it, play with him this way. Italia? Was it really Italia?

With a sudden temper Germany shot up from the bushes, aiming his blowgun at the source of the sound, senses tingling, the small nerves of his limbs tense and ready for any course of action. Italia was sprawled out on the forest floor after his own clumsy act, a sight that was unfortunately familiar to Germany. He snapped angrily, part from frustration, yet another part from relief that it wasn't another nation like Russia or America.

"Italia!!"
