It sounded like one of the British guys was in the control room doing some sort of chemistry experiment. That was no good. Those guys plus chemistry plus the big fucking computer that controlled everything was a recipe for disaster. Especially if it was that older jackass, but they both sounded exactly the same to him.

So he couldn't help but poke his head into the room. "Hey, what're you- oh. Uh, hi. You're that new guy, aren't you? I thought you were someone else." Whoops.

He gave the guy a blank look (as if there was any other kind of expression he could give, really), then shrugged, having gotten enough out of that jargon to get the idea. "You think you're a pretty funny guy, don't you?" he said, unamused.
