Oh my god, our shower rod just came out of the ceiling and wall. On Jen's head. Which would be amusing if not for the fact that now I can't shower tomorrow morning. *stabs apartment in its soul*
life,
fucking goddamn piece of shit

You can get rods that simply wedge between two walls if you need a quick fix? Just jam it between two things and it should stay up steady.

Mostly the problem is that it's not just the curtain rod that fell, it's actually the whole shower unit. We don't have a standard shower, just a bathtub with a modified shower head (attached to the faucet) and a free-standing curtain unit. Er, like this. The shower head holder is attached to the curtain rod unit, not built in or attached to the wall, so showering would be...difficult at best, very messy at worst, what with trying to angle the water so that it doesn't spray out onto the floor and having to pick up and put down the shower head all the time because there is nowhere to hang it. D: But Jen's bringing home a bath plug so we can just have baths for the next couple of days.
WHAT CAN YOU DO, EH?
