Hmmmmm...

So! I think we all know what has been going on with LJ in the last days, so I won't dwell a lot on it. I'll go straight to the point and make some questions ( Read more... )

I'm pretty easy going as it is. I mostly just wait to see where it all goes.

Which is fine, too! I've made backup journals for my musebox, but I've no problem if those I RP wish decide to stay here on LJ or RP in both places either.

It depends. The DR has been really quiet for the last few months and LJ didn't do anything to make things better.

I'd consider moving with my characters to another serve, but I have to admit, I don't know the other servers, it's new land to me.

Yeah, that's reasonable. The last days haven't been easy for anyone in the RP scene, and there's the lower activity on the DR as a whole. I guess waiting some more would be good, and then there's what the mods may want to say.

Both servers are decent options actually. On one hand IJ has 100 icons for free, though it sometimes crashes for a while; on the other DW is running smoothly but it'll soon be back to code-based account creation. I guess it's a "different strokes for different folks" thing in the end.

So first we should wait then I guess.

Then I'd rather have a sever that doesn't crash, I've had enough with that.

While I'd really love to avoid a move, if everyone else/the mod says we move, I'll probably go with. I mean, as inactive as it's been I'm kind of attached to this place and everyone here, so. . . . (Man, I say that like I fell out the fandom haha)

Really, until LJ starts remodeling the whole site, I say we just turn on custom comment pages until they make the non-custom layout that functions exactly the way the old one did as they promised. I mean, LJ isn't known for keeping it's promises or doing much of anything in a timely manner, but it's still doable and they said "a few weeks" so I guess they can tell how absolutely peeved we are.

Honestly, as long as they change the colors of this damn thing to stop being so fucking bright and they address the issues with loading and functionality everyone but me is having, I'm willing to use the new thing. But it gives me a headache after a while(and either they changed the colors--my friend has been saying it seems like it keeps changing--or I'm getting used to it because I don't have a ( ... )

I would really, really rather avoid moving. I'm holding out on the hope that LJ will listen and fix up these changes (they did so rather quickly with the whole city IP address thing before, didn't they?)

but, if they don't, well, I just don't know what to do...

I don't know if I'd move...I mean, this account is paid for. =/ But if all of his friends leave LJ, there'd be no point in keeping him here...

I read about a fund on dreamwidth for those who have a paid account here. Or something the like, I didn't read all of it.
