[The sound of someone running down the hall was what drew him out of his room in the first place. Opening the door, he was about to give a proper lecture about disturbing the peace before he gave pause and thought better of it.]

Of course we can. Give me a moment or two to gather some papers.

[With a polite smile, he quickly disappeared back into his room.]
