A young girl wanders the labyrinthine maze that is HQ, looking halls up and down. She pauses to admire the decorations and nods to herself approvingly.

"Big city folks sure do things different, with all them shiny pictures and stuff. I bet they dress real different too. Gosh, I hope suspenders are still fashionable." Ukraine self-consciously adjusts ( Read more... )

Sister? What are you doing here? A capitalist might see you. *attempts to herd her back to where she came from--a difficult task given that HQ doesn't really have a location relative to Earth* And where are my potatoes? You aren't...late again, are you?

[OOC: LOL, I thought you were going to be a haven of Slavic sanity at first, but it looks like madness runs in the family...]

*assists Ivan in that attempt, just so that the two won't be touching each other without her supervision*

*slowly being forced back down the hall, taking care not to come in contact with Ivan. Natalia still carries that knife, doesn't she?* Of cours' I got your potatoes. I had to kill my neighbor to meet the quota but I think I have enough. And I jus' met a couple capitalists in fact. They seems like pretty nice people, don't know what you have agains't them, Brother.

And Sister, I see you and Ivan are still gettin' along jus' fine. Makes me feel a lil' left out...just a lil' bit.

*that "a lil' left out" just about squealed like a dying chalk against her heart's blackboard.*

*hisses into Ukraine's ear as Ivan is looking the capitalists' way*
You sure dare talk about feeling left out in front of me.

*Germania has been walking around the HQ, trying to familiarize himself with the place when he spots the boy... or girl. The clothing of the future never ceases to confuse him. He approaches him/her.* Ansts jah gawairthi izwis.

Ants ya what now? I didn't catch that last part, sorry 'bout that. But if you're talking about insects, I think they've all died in that last cold snap or starved t'death near my place.

Say, yer hair looks very pretty. I bet you have rich men knocking down your doors trying t' marry ya, though I guess yer a lil' tall for some people. I wish I could get my hair to look like that, but it's hard when ya have t'work the fields all day, trying to meet the quota and doing your best to support the Motherland.

... not insects. Was say'n hello.

*tugs on his hair, embarrassed* No men. Have wife. And y'r hair's skauns. ... pret'y.

[ooc: Didn't say in my last post, but welcome to the DR. I love the way your Ukraine talks.]

*Feliks really should've been watching where he was going, but he didn't, so he ran into the girl*

Ahh! *turns to see who he ran into*
Oh, sorry! I totally didn't mean to do that... *suddenly recognizes her*

...!

[ooc: ...I freaking love how she talks!

And I'm assuming they've met before, they live next door to each other XD If you're got any preferenced for how they should interact, let me know~]

*almost crashes to floor, but steadies herself and looks up to see who ran into her* Hey, that wasn't very nice, y'know--Eh, Poland?! It's bin a while, hasn't it? You look a lot healthier than when you were with us Slavic folks. I guess those western European countries must be treatin' ya pretty well. Gosh, I bet it's almost as good as havin' a rich husband, maybe better because they don't come home drunk and steal your half of the potato? D'ya think you could introduce me to a nice one?

[OOC: Thank you! And Poland's valley girl voice is just fabulous!

Haha, I only noticed that when I looked at a map just now. Hmm, I think they share a dislike of Russia, but I'm not sure...Do you have any ideas?]

*takes a moment to take in all of that*
It's been ages. Things have like, been seriously better for me since last time we met~ But I totally don't know if I'd be able to introduce you to a rich husband *laughs*

[ooc: Hmm, no idea :P Maybe we should just wing it and see what happens X3]

Ah, that's alright. But maybe you know a western country who wants some help 'round the house or summat like that?

[OOC: Sounds good to me :)]

*Spotting the lost gal, incidentally staring rudely for a moment- Completely not on purpose. His ears perk worriedly at the words of cannibalism ... But decides not to comment, almost frightened as to what he may find out.*

... Guess I'm not the fresh meat around here, anymore.
