Once again, in the HQ restaurant, Peu de Maxim, there was an elaborate festivity going on. Anyone could come with their date to get desserts of all kinds for Saint Valentine's Day.

However there was a catch this time. You HAD to have a date. If you didn't come in with one? No problem! HQ would set you up with somebody! Blind date, first love,

[Hello Papa. He'll be sneaking around and avoiding waitresses so he can give him a hug and kiss on the cheek.]

[He looked rather proud at having startled him. Just like always.]

Oh. Somewhere. I wandered off without him.

[Well his boy was rather good at it... And he was distracted finishing some flan anyway]

I assume he'll come looking for you soon. Should I tell him where you are or are you hiding?

[Oh man, she was so not dressed for this sort of thing at all. But even with her protests, which weren't many in the first place, she was seated at an empty table. She didn't know exactly what what was going on, but that wasn't going to stop her from helping herself to the various sweets. Chocolate's always good no matter what the occasion.]

[It seemed that a man couldn't just look in to see what was going on without being pulled in and ushered over to a seat. If he had been interested in a meal, he would have let the waitress know but his protests seemed to have fallen on deaf ears.]

[And as soon as Amelia sees him she stops reaching for the food and finishes off what she has in her mouth as she waves energetically at him.]

Oh hey! So you got dragged in here too? They have a lot of good stuff though, you should try it.

[She'll be pushing a plate with a chocolate cake on it towards him now, ain't it just the cutest little cake you've seen? It's even got little raspberries on the side.]

It does seem to be the case. The waitress didn't seem too picky and no amount of protest deterred her. [He at least politely took a seat across from her before...

...well. Now he wasn't going to turn down free cake, was he?] Oh. Well thank you.

[He'll be walking in for this very special Valentine's day event; he wouldn't miss something he was certain his fiancee was planning special things for. He's seated and waits for his Frenchman to saunter over.]

[And certainly, he wouldn't be let down. Francis came to him in a stunning suit, reaching for his hand.]

Come. Ze waitress doesn't know where I set up a place for you and moi~

[Of course, he had the entire back deck cleared off. The whole balcony lit with cafe lights and candles, surrounded by flowers and in view of a lake. And it was all theirs]

[He gladly took Francis's hand, smiling]

Oh, good. I was ever so worried I would be without a date.

He chuckled. "Non non, I zink someone as dashing as you would be snatched up before ze night was young." he kissed his hand before leading him to sit at the table he had set up.

Valentine's Day already, huh? What smells so good?

[He'll snort at that. Any culinary creation from a country that considered snails an appetising dish could hardly be called delicious.

Hullo. [The nickname makes him frown a bit. He's wondering if he's crossed paths with this particular America/Alfred before. It's hard to tell when they all look alike] Have we met?

Mismatching and new ships are a go

[Like she used to, Maddie would help out. Especially since she kind of expects her dear Papa to go missing with his sweetheart.]

[He didn't mean to bump into her, it was just something that happened on accident. In fact, he was actually trying to leave when it happened. Though it was mostly his own fault for not paying attention as he was too busy looking behind him.]

[As he bumped into her she had dropped the dishes she was holding in her hands. Which were crashing onto the floor now.]

I-it's alright! It was mostly my fault!

[She knelt down to clean the mess she has made.]

Unless you were planning on running into people, I would at least guess blame is half and half.
