Poor baby. Maybe he'd prefer a better model? Or perhaps just a distraction in the form of the young woman perched on the counter in the kitchen, reading one of the magazines. And she is reading it, eyes scanning the Chinese written there with perfect, practiced ease.
She glances at him once as he sits down to sketch, but doesn't comment.
Quinn looks up from the first bit of the drawing he knows how to do- the eyes- and spots the young woman. With a bit of a smile, he inclines his head politely. "Hullo, miss."
Blue eyes flicker up to rest on his and she smiles back. Oh, sure, he'll hear about her in no time, but first impressions were actually very important. And she was tired of being called 'Girdwal' and 'whore.'
"Hello. What are you up to there?" It's probably more fascinating than the 10 Ways To Please Your Man article she's reading.
He holds up the notebook. "Tryin' to draw up a list of as many people here as I've met, and adding pictures so's newcomers know which face goes with which name. It's only in English and Aurebesh so far, though. Dunno any other languages but Latin, and that's not much good."
The woman gets a curious look; she's pretty, to the point where he's sure he ought to remember her if he'd seen her before. "My name's Quinn," he says. "What's yours?"
Jim wanders in for 'breakfast', looking like he hasn't gotten much sleep, and might still be a little dazed from his last attempt. He glances over as he heads into the kitchen.
There's the sound of a quiet yawn, and some clinking around with cans, before Jim comes back out of the kitchen with a newly opened can and a fork. He looks in the can dubiously and sniffs at it.
"Ok. Just woke up."
Just woke up in that sense of not actually sleeping much.
"All right, I guess," Quinn says. "Had to check on Padme- Mel broke some of her ribs during practise, but Dr. Underlay says she'll be all right soon enough. Better once the concussion's done, anyway. Figured I'd start on a few more projects now that the pipes are about done."

"Hi, Quinn."

Jim's name's already been recorded in the book; he'll have to do the matching face later.
