Nearly without exception, Mel's moods are compulsive, often violent, and short lived. She's worked out her frustrations, with the situation, with her companions, and with herself, and now she's back in the apartment she's claimed as her own, working on opening a can of beans, and kind of regretting that she can't call up heat to warm it up.
