Visitors and patients are welcome, though he'd probably prefer visitors.

Book has been trying to get a feel of this new place and some of the people here. It's just hard for him, especially after some of the things Kaylee told him when he saw her.

Passing the door to the infirmary, he saw Simon just inside. He smiled. He always enjoyed his talks with Simon. "Hello, Dr. Tam."

Simon looks up quickly, and smiles.

"Shepherd Book. How are you?"

Well, at least one person would be relaxed about his appearance.

"I'm quite well, considering. And how are you?"

Book came further into the room, loooking around the infirmary. It almost reminded him of Serenity. Almost.

It helps that he's undoubtedly heard that Book is there, from Kaylee. So the initial shock has passed.

"Also quite well. I'm sorry we haven't had a chance to talk before this."
