Chase peers in.

"What's open?"

[fengmei]

River points, calmly.

"The door."

What else?

"Also, the drink machines. The fluid flow is open. Can mix something for you."

[talkback]

"Oh."

Pause.

"Sure, I'll take something."

[fengmei]

"Something?" River smiles, curiously, and starts looking for 'something.'

Chase gets ginseng.

It's something.

Albrecht isn't particularly interested in the music, but coffee's always good. He's a little shocked to see some young girl doing it instead. But whatever.

He'd just gone outside after finding Giles outside. He couldn't find the vamp responsible. So, now he's taking a break.

"Uh, hey kid. Never seen you before."

River might sense his intense Rage, and his disconnection from Gaia. And...well, if she can sense deep enough, she'd probably see some pretty fucked up things.

Actually, River is nearly seventeen -- at times she just looks quite a bit younger due to her behavior.

She tilts her head to the side and shrugs.

"Don't make myself a target."

Albrecht considers anyone under the age of twenty young.

"Definately good practice, kid," Albrecht says with a smirk.

"So, you're doing coffee today?"

"Gonna try," she says triumphantly -- and in situations like this she certainly can act young, as you'd think an older teen would know more about things like coffee shops than this.

"Get something for you?"

Johnny listened to the music some. It seemed....too modern for his tastes.

He did notice the sign, and got up, using his cane as leverage.

"What's open? ...Oh hi River."

"Here." She points. "The door. And the taps. For drinking."

He just chuckled, "Ok, ask an obvious question. Any specials for today then?"

[fengmei]

"Ginseng, and coffee, and -- I can make bao," she says, proudly, as usually there isn't bao, and all she needs is powdered milk.

Which is quite possibly around, somewhere, as Tris would've nearly shot someone to get it for those who are pregnant.

The boy who wanders into 202, drawn by the smell of coffee and the promise of a friend to chat with, seems very confused to find this woman-who-is-not-Faye making coffee. The woman who, he vaguely recalls, did not seem to like him very much during that trip to the mall...

"Um, where's Faye?" He asks, glancing around in confusion.

"Not here."

River shrugs. "Don't know. Didn't ask. Took up the reins, social duty."

"...oh." He stands uncomfortably in the doorway, wondering if he should stay or go. In the end, coffee wins out. "Can I...get a cup of coffee?" Please?

[fengmei]

"Shi a," she says, reaching for the maker, and shooting him a half-smile that could possibly be a silent way of saying 'it isn't your fault that there's a scary presence in your head that makes me sometimes afraid of you, really!'

"Anything to go in?"
