Sam has been tired for a while of staying inside, so today she's thought about gardening some, and thought about where to plant things, and how. She's found a magazine that lists seeds and flowers, and has been carrying it around with her. When she crosses around to the training court, a strange -- and really cool! -- sight greets her. There is a ( Read more... )

Daddy is just watching, absently chewing on a stalk of something. It's just extraneous, after all, he's been doing a lot to make them grow.

He doesn't say anything, just smiles at them, absently.

Somebody does, it seems, want to come play. And somebody who looks like his (much angrier, less carefree) twin does not want to come and play. To be more specific, two identical boys, sixteen years of age, come towards the training court. Not walking, of course, or chatting. No, that wouldn't be fun! One is leaping into the air, huge leaps that carry him farther than any human should be able to go. Each jump is at least two stories high, and long enough to hurdle over a house or three. The other boy is running after him shouting obscenities in japanese. Every few steps he disappears in a flash and reappears farther up. Neither boy seems very normal, though one (bouncy) is grinning from ear to ear and the other (angry) is scowling ( ... )

Now he has two teen girls staring at him with wide eyes.

"Uh," Sam says.

Once he's sure Kon will not be getting up anytime soon, Ichigo seems to notice them.

"...uh...I can explain."

He can explain why he's beating up his exact double. Really.

Actually, Sam notices Danny first! Sam has a habit of noticing Danny first. "Hi, Danny!"

She comes over, flushed and sweaty, while X-23 trails behind her. "This is X. She's teaching me how to kick box. So far, I'm pretty sure I can kick your butt."

"X," Sam answers for her, and smiles. "She's teaching me all kinds of stuff. Why're you out here?"

Past week or so has seen Albrecht training alot in the yard. He hasn't gotten into any real fights lately, so he doesn't want to get rusty on his sword technique. It's an odd technique (to anyone who's ever fought with swords before). While it does have a lot of wide swipes while moving forward which would normally suit his wide bladed, curved sword, it also involves a number of quick stabbing motions and defensive motions which would normally be quite tricky for a blade that size. Another odd thing? His sword is quite obviously made of pure silver.

However, halfway through his training, he catches an odd sight out of the corner of his eye. He looks over and sees one oddly dressed girl teaching another oddly dressed girl how to kick. The one who's teaching seems to know what she's doing, which is what really surprises Albrecht. Most human children don't get that good at any type of attack so young. So there is a somewhat confused look from Albrecht towards the youngsters.

"...huh."
