The teenage boy who entered the room knew that look very well; it was the same look that was on his face when no one was looking.

"Hello," Artemis said simply, leaving the opportunity for interaction open should she care for it.

"Hello."

That's it. Clearly pronounced, her voice carried, but the redhead doesn't look up or even stop reading.

It's... sort of interaction.

"Not exactly light reading," He observed, ironically as he was carring a large volume of Shakespeare under one scrawny arm.

She glances up, blue eyes rising just high enough to read the title on his volume before they drop back to her own book.

"At least it's not iambic pentameter."

Illyria's in that book.

Well, not literally, and only if one can translate her entry into something resembling their native language. But she is literally in 202.

She's not so much one for interrupting one's brooding, so for now she's just there, standing in the doorway, watching.

Blue eyes scan the page slowly, taking in every word. She's too absorbed in it to notice a watcher.

"There are far more interesting things to be a voyeur on, I'm sure," she says softly, irritably, and without looking up.

Maybe she's not too absorbed after all.

"I know," she replies, simply.

She does, too. Just ask the real Watcher she's been stalking for the past few weeks.

She isn't likely to.

"So why don't you go find them?"

There may or may not be a hobbit following her.

At the current point in time, however, he's not so much following as he is just there by coincidence - no, really, I swear! - and so he lingers near the girl, close enough to keep an eye on her but far away enough to keep from getting smacked.

(Unless she decides to get up and inflict physical harm on him, that is.)

He's probably just looking to get another kiss. But the longer he lingers, the more she notices until blue eyes glance up to him before dropping back to the page.

"Bored, Sir Pip?"

"Maybe," he says, voice quiet - albeit delighted! - as he hops his way over to her.

He peers at her through shy, pale green eyes, then, "What're you doing?"

"This would be 'reading.'"

Pippin is adorable and she found him entertaining once - but it takes more than cuteness to get her out of a thoughtful-funk.

The Reaver illustration in the book, it should be noted, is not adorable.
