Again with the music coming from 202. Only this time, it's--The Beatles? WTF?

Faye's decided that she'll rotate different types of music in while making coffee. It's only fair, after all.

sam manson, revan, coffee day, !location: apt 202, kaylee frye, padme amidala, zuko, ichigo kurosaki, rogue, gregory house, adrian monk, johnny smith, albrecht, faye whitaker

Beatles music is catchy.

Really catchy.

Padme doesn't even know she's bouncing along to the music.

Just don't ask her to sing. Nobody deserves that.

"Hi, Faye." She smiles. Better than she's been for a very long time.

"Hey, Padme!" Faye grins. "Someone's in a good mood today."

"I think it's the music. But it just...seems like a good day today."

She can't really explain it.

Of course, it could be the tall Jedi that arrived recently.

But she won't admit that.

Yet.

She grins. "I'm just glad to see you in a good mood. Coffee?"

COFFEE.

There is a small, hungry-looking fifteen-year-old goth girl peering at the coffee and at Faye, with a lot of old magazines in her arms and her hair up and out of her face. "Is that really coffee?"

"You bet it is," she says with a smile. "How do you take yours?"

"Black." There is coffee, and it is real, honest to goodness coffee, and Sam is so exhausted at this point that she could probably cry with happiness. "Please."

"You bet, hon."

She pours the coffee and hands it to the girl. "My name's Faye," she says. "What's yours?"

Monk appears, but he's not really in the mood for coffee or... much of anything. He doesn't know why he's out of his room.

... wait, yes he does!

He doesn't want to be alone.

That nightmare really shook him to the core, and although he was fine while doing his job, now he's just... blank.

Nearby, Johnny already had a mug in hand, and he was singing along to Revolution #9 playing in the background.

He flagged Monk over, "Hey Monk, over here." He frowned when he noticed the troubled mood. He remembered being waken up in the middle of night because of screams. But his concerned knocking was waved away.

Monk doesn't even blink, he just raises his hand and wiggles his fingers as a kind of greeting.

"Hey, Johnny."

Decan's snuck out of the infirmary. Again! Sitting around wanting to break something and not being able to without being tut tuted by doctors and wizard doctors was for the damn rancor.

So, the first distraction he got he slipped out of there and made his way up to 202. Coffee smells nice, if nothing else. He hopes he doesn't tear his sutures and leak all over the place. He'd never hear the end of it.

"Hey, what's up?" she asks, smiling at him. "Coffee, Decan?"

"Love some," he replies with a grin, while strategically placing himself where he can duck behind the counter in case a doctor pokes their head in.

"What the hell is that?"

Zuko's never heard the B's, man. He just isn't groovy.

"Music from my world," she explains. "Stuff from the 1960s. A band called the Beatles."

She pours Zuko coffee and hands it to him, just the way he likes it--black, with enough sugar to choke a horse.

"...a band of what?" Yeah, Zuko's missed the whole concept of music groups. But, oh! Coffee! Coffee induces smiling.

"A band of musicians," she says by way of explination. She keeps forgetting that he doesn't get all of the nuances of American English. ..or modern English in general.
