As the questers progress, the balck line on the horizon becomes thicker, more pronounced. And it soon becomes obvious what they're looking at. A giant intrusion of some hard rock, raised up perhaps hundreds of feet above normal ground level, and covering a vast region across the travellers' path.

To go around would add days to their journey

"Been through worse than that." Mal says, his eyes squinting as he looks at the horizon. "Say we go straight on." He glances around the group. "Don't gotta but never shied down from somethin' like that before."

Steph stares up at the mountain, frowning.

"Can we get the car up it? Anyone see any roads?"

"Transportation would slow us down... just like goin' around would." Mal shrugs and looks to Steph, among the others. "We need the transport? Way I see it we was all made with the best kind of transport possible... walkin' ain't half bad. Course if we had a few mares..." But they didn't. "We need the thransport?" He asks again.

"Prolly not."

She shrugs.

"We can load everything onto ourselves."
