Once he'd found the Tam's and got Simon to check over his poor, possibly pnuemonia ridden uncle, Zuko -- stayed there while Iroh slumbered for some time, before he finally got up and went back; the matresses were stlil in the court yard, and once one of the collected tarps were spread over them, would survive a single night outside. Tomorrow they'd start moving them in and go to get more. There was a funny, if comfortable feeling one he wanted to take from thee Brookestones in the 'mall'.

Then again, it was very comfortable. Maybe his uncle, old as he was, might find it more restful.

At the moment, he couldn't sleep. He -- felt strangely elated. Iroh was safe, here, with him. Family was attained. Most of what he wanted, now, in the world, was here. Maybe he couldn't restore his honor in the way he had been instructed, but -- there was more to life, perhaps, then his father's words.

He didn't need to be jealous anymore. He would, however, need to learn to share. He had a lover now, an uncle, and a whole gaggle of people who looked to him to occasionally get things done.

But-- maybe this was just the sign he needed. It'd all work out now. At least, he thought so. He hoped so.

Thus preoccupied with these thoughts, he walked the basketball court next to the apartment building, and stared at the moonless night sky.
