Illyria's out here often enough for it to be just a matter of course that she's out again, tonight.
She doesn't hesitate before heading over to join him at the roof's edge. It's not something she consciously thinks about, none of the usual awkwardness that their interactions have held since... since pretty much the beginning. She doesn't know when that went away, because it isn't something she thinks about.
She just walks over and sits next to him, without comment until it occurs to her that she should say something because it is what people do.

Still, finding someone near the ruins of his work gets a sideways glance and a grunt from the alchemist. "Hey," is all he says, before he takes off his coat and starts for the greenhouse.

Methos smiles at her when she sits.
"Humans like their rituals. I've come back from every one of those events after having been up here, so maybe I'm hoping for the same luck again."
He reaches over and lightly lays a hand over hers, just for the contact.

She says the word reproachfully, though she doesn't pull her hand away. She's becoming slightly more accustomed to that, too.
"One may not rely on luck. I hardly think you need worry about not returning. We are not even certain there is anything new out there to fight."
It's part of why she's indifferent to going.
