Jack was in 202, not alseep as he'd told the Doctor he would be after speaking with him on the roof. While he had dropped back to 404 briefly on his way back down where he'd not even thought about sleeping. True he was tired really but he ignored it. Jack had thought about going to see about getting a gun again, for some reason he didn't want a gun

Just the person Rose was looking for after speaking with the Doctor on the roof. That roof sure sees a lot of action these days.

So here's Rose, looking more than a little emotionally frazzled and not quite having any idea what she was actually here to say.

"There you are." she says, trying to sound casual.

Jack stops singing, then he looks up and turns to see who was there and who was looking for him.

"Hey." This isn't the usual flirty hello, it's a much more sedate one, he tried a smile. He studied her a moment, before deciding to speak again.

"Something wrong?" He abandoned his search in favour of going to give Rose a hug.

"God, I dunno." she sighs, rather grateful for the purely friendly hug and the lack of flirtation right now. She was confused enough already.

"I just talked to the Doctor. Things are all weird here, we're all from different places in time and it's making things about ten times more confusing than normal."

Jack raised an eyebrow and looked down at Rose.

"What did you talk about?" He's curious because he would like to know if the Doctor had told her what he'd been like. "What happened?" Jack sounded concerned, he was always good at reading people.
