Daffodil has a problem; specifically a problem related to wheelchairs, stairs, and the dislike one has for the other. She's debating whether or not she should risk walking.

She looks like she might have decided to risk it.

Someone care to convince her otherwise?

Because Daffodil's official guardian is off getting herself into humourous scrapes, or not, there's a Kaylee, on her way between the Engineering alcove and room 202, depending on whether Daffodil's at the top or bottom of the stairs.

"Well, hi there. You needing a hand?"

She's at the top of the stairs, loooking down with a stubborn expression on her face.

"No, feet I can walk on, please. My hands are fine."

Kaylee laughs softly, and crouches down beside the wheelchair. "OK, I ain't no good with making people work," she says a little sadly. "But I could carry you down, if y'want?"

"My feet work," frowning at them, "that's the problem. It's just when they work here I get sick."

She smiles hopefully, and her face lights up.

"Would you really?"

Yeah, that doesn't sound like a good idea at all. Luckily, Sokka is coming to the rescue!

...Actually, he's coming up the stairs to get into 202, his notebook tucked under his arm. But he notices the girl at the top about halfway there and smiles at her-- before noting the wheelchair and its position.

"Um... need some help?" he offers.

"No?" She smiles. "I'm okay. Just wondering if I want to go downstairs or not."

"That, I believe, is a lie," he replies, smiling back a little more kindly. "And I bet those wheels won't get along too well with the stairs." He looks at her for a moment, still on the stairs himself, before stepping up a few more to stand beside her. "If I carry you down can you hang out for a minute while I come back up and get the chair?"

"Uh," she looks startled for a moment.

"I guess so."

Looks like she won't ba having any difficulty getting around. . . she just has to look cute and someone will help. . .
