Somehow, and Sokka doesn't want to spend time thinking about why, things were almost better with one-after-the-other attacks from Harth and the Magog. But even without thinking about it, Sokka knows why. Because he has less time to meet people and work on projects that make him think he isn't working hard enough - at least when they're being attacked, he has bodies to show that what he's doing is making a difference.
Not so much when he leaves 202 and Mel's smirking face to go sit in the room he shares with Katara. But he went to training this morning, talked to Paige (was reassured by Mel), worked on the airship for a while, asked his 'masters' (Kaylee, Wash, and Harper) for help with certain subjects, sketched a few more plans or improvements on old ones and now--
Now he's restless thinking about his conversation with Mel (and Paige for that matter) and really, really wants to get his mind off it.
Push-ups with an open notebook in front of his nose to read while he works, it is!
