What he gets is a blonde woman - at the moment anyway - who had looked out of her window at the light, and is now staring at him, head cocked quizzically.
"Not usually. My dad's the major deity of my world and the guys in heaven like putting on a show whenever I go anywhere," Josh said amicably. "It's actually kind of annoying."
He waved a hand dismissively.
Holding out his hand for her to shake and looking extremely friendly, he said, "Anyway, my name's Josh. I'm the Son of God. My omnipotence is kind of sketchy in this place, so what's your name?"
"Are you okay?" Josh asked, genuinely concerned for her well-being. "Settling in alright? This place must be really lonely." He looked around, eyes narrowed slightly in sadness as he said the last bit.
