last night when I went to bed

I put on an mp3 of the sound of rain to help me sleep, except I started thinking on how I was listening to music to distract me from my fear of the ghost from Haunting from Conneticut (the one that's all burned and fucking STANDS THERE all the time) and I started freaking out and clenched my eyes shut, too terrified to open them or move around in bed. My heart was pounding and I was afraid that if I opened my eyes I'd see the ghost guy standing over me.

So I ended up feeling my way through my ipod to put on an upbeat Backstreet Boys song to try to distract me...

didn't work too well.

Oh, just googled that and apparently, the movie's already been shown in my country, but I've never heard about it before. I kind of want to watch it now.
The promotional posters are already creeping the hell out of me.

The only part of the movie that scared me after the credits was the ghost that still freaks me out. I can't seem to find pictures of him, though... oh well.

I haven't seen the movie, but I've seen the episode from A Haunting a bunch of times. It's creepy. o.o The poor kid might have just been going crazy from the cancer, but it's still scary.

Last weekend when I thought I heard gunshots outside my window. Growing up in the worst ghettos of New York City during the crack epidemic and losing an uncle to gun violence does that to you. My current neighborhood is relatively safe (occasional rapist lurk about, had 4 shootings but only 2 deaths [one was a FBI busts because they were following a terrorist cell that possibly lives on my block] in 9 years I've lived here).

Oh God, your neighborhood sounds awful (I'm sorry if this remark offends you) D: I can't really imagine living in a place like that, you see.

Oh no, my current neighborhood is relatively safe, especially since it borders on actually two bad neighborhoods. The fact we only had four shootings that resulted in two deaths in 9 years is a pretty good thing, although the occasional rapist things freaks me out sometimes, especially in my neighborhood, everyone goes in their house at 8 PM or so (that freaked out my family because our old neighborhood, people typical stay out until 12 AM, when the shootings usually begins).

My current neighborhood is safe enough from shooting thing, although I got really freaked that there was possibly a terrorist cell on my block and the FBI was there to bust them. One shooting was pretty stupid because some depressed guy caused havoc to get the police to kill him because he was too scared to do it himself (they didn't kill him though).

I dunno, you have a higher chance of getting killed by a car crash than a shooting here.

At the weekend my friend and I went on these bumper-boats, but mine was broke and wouldn't move. It just stayed in one place, spinning really quickly, and the petrol box was giving out smoke.

And whenever I took my hand off the pressy downy thing it vibrated really loudly. I thought it was going to explode or something!

It was so damn scary :'(
