We're so old. ... okay, 30 isn't that old, but at this point we're... what, 5 months old? Almost 6? And still active - it's peanuts! (... did you know that peanuts aren't technically nuts? They're a member of the legume family!)

Say in an AU, what modern jobs/hobbies do you think the nations would have, if any?

Sorry, I read 'Red' then 'Ice cream truck' and thought you meant Russia as an Ice cream man. I lol'd. Then I read 'Belgium' got a bit disappointed. Then Bulgaria and I'm happy again.

It's my headcanon that the only jobs they have are consulting their leaders. That already would be a difficult task. The rest of the day they just idle around, doing their hobbies and interacting with other nations when they can.

Germany does part time work at a university library. Sometimes he'll help a student track down a really rare volume in the back shelves if he's quite sure they'll treat it right and return it in good condition.

Prussia would be a bird breeder.

Germany would own a dog grooming company.

Prussia is a kindergarten teacher, he'd most likely fail with the children but he'd keep trying because they're so cute.
