HAVE YOU TRIED TEA YET?

Oh, hey, you're awake. America's communist now, just a heads up. :D

[ooc: the caffeine makes it harder to sleep, sadly.]

Unfortunately, what they are saying is true.

He's gone mad.

They've all gone mad. If they're not turning communist, they're trying to make me turn teetotaler.

Well, I'll be. He's decided to suffer an identity crisis here, of all places. Perhaps that is best, as here we have a chance to turn him back without getting all his citizens involved.

Now why would they want to do that? I should think it impossible to survive without any alcohol. At the end of the day, it makes all the hard work worth it.

Exactly.

...it is such a relief to be able to converse with someone of such obvious taste and intelligence. After talking with nothing but Americas and anons - and POLAND - *sighs*

I do wish Canada had been around.

Our taste and intelligence is unrivalled, my dear England. It is a joy to converse with you as well, and I could imagine what a trial it must have been to speak with others who didn't share in our qualities.

[slightly perplexed tone] Was Canada away when America -- ?

A generous anon was able to procure some tea for us. Would you care for a cup?

*sighs* Canada is nowhere to be found, I'm afraid. It's a pity. He can be a stabilizing effect on America.

Why, aren't there two in our presence? Perhaps I'm mistaken.

Indeed, I could use some hot tea right now, so: yes, please.

*pours him a cup of fragrant tea from a teapot magically appearing out of thin air*

*in curious tone of voice* Really? TWO? I haven't seen even one so far.

Ah... Thank you.

No, I'm quite certain I -- Hum, could I be mistaken after all. But to answer your question: I have seen two Canadas here, and a couple more elsewhere. All agreeable lads.

This tea is excellent.

Canada is usually agreeable. It makes one wish he was around more often, to temper his brother. Ah well. If all goes accordingly... *trails off and sips at his own cup of tea*

Yes, it is rather good, isn't it? Fresh-brewed tea - the real stuff - none of this teabag nonsense.

[sip] If all goes accordingly ... Matthew will be a good influence on Alfred, yes?

I have a love-hate relationship with those teabags. Fine for a quick cuppa, no doubt, but most commercial brands are lacking.

And now, to bed. *yawns* It was great playing with you. Thanks for letting me! lion_guardant July 17 2009, 11:02:52 UTC
If all goes accordingly, Alfred won't need to be reined in so often.

And yes. *sighs* The curse of the modern world - trading quality for convenience.
