part 24 and the pussycats

Jul 08, 2009 23:43

Guys, I'm so bad at titles.

So... I have no idea when the meme maxed as I wasn't here for it this time, but I hope it was cool! You guys seem to rock it each time.

Have fun on part 24~

'Cause I'm so confused, and I never take the manga/anime author's stats seriously because they're all freakishly underweight and short.

I think, China aside, the largest nations are accordingly tall, Russia looming over everyone (which is canon, so OK), Canada and America being around 6'2" (maybe Canada's a half-inch taller, haha) and maybe 185-190 lbs (though Al might be heavier, like 210--he's definitely broader and denser with muscle...and maybe a bit of muffintop). Australia's pretty tall, too.

I kind of like England being short, but "short" is like 5'7" or so. Japan, more like 5'4". France would be an even 6, Italy about 5'8", Germany 6'1"

I guess for the girls, I see Hungary, Belarus and Ukraine all being around 5'5", 5'6", and Liech, Taiwan, and Seychelles being around 5'2".

tl;dr, I know, but share, guys!

It's definitely in my headcanon that Canada is super tall, and just slightly taller than America. I find it really adorable for some reason.

Me too. I don't know why I find it so cute, but it is :')

:D It makes him gawky and cute!

Also, if he's a bit on the thin side, he's still built well enough to wear a suit and not look fail in it. Hahaha I overthink these things.

I see Canada and America as the same height because they're twins, and I just find that cute.

Sweden's the second-tallest of all the countries, maybe 6'4"-5", depending on how tall Russia is. Denmark's around 6'2.5"

I think Turkey's like, 6'2" as well. Maybe taller. Prussia doesn't quite reach 6", and Austria's around 5'10". Spain... 5'10" too? Romano's about an inch taller than his brother.

I never know if Korea's just super tall or China's just really short. There's a pretty big difference between the two of them...

But. I don't know. I think the heights Hidekaz has are about right, I don't think of any of them taller than 6'1 (Which I could see Russia as being) maybe I'm just too used to the moe faces;;

I've always seen China as really short, like around 5'6".

I have to admit I loled when I found out Russia was like 5'9". I expected him to be 6'5" or something.

To be fair, 5'9 would be really tall in Japan.

I realized that, but not until I'd had a good giggle about it. I have quite a few female friends who're scraping 6 foot, so imagining Russia being shorter than them was hilarious.

I'm 5'9 myself- or, I was the last time I checked.

...

...Oh my god, I'm taller than America. D:

Of the heights that I can find, I'm only taller than the shortasses. Japan, Hungary, Belarus, Latvia, Taiwan and Sealand.

Brb, off to the stretching machine~

In my headcanon Russia is 6'5" or maybe even a bit taller, too. Basically he looks like a blond Stephen Fry.

not only that, but how he doesn't even keep their height consistent.

I imagine Canada being taller than America. Not just a bit taller, but by a few inches. Then again I just see him being a tall, lanky thing.

I can't see France breaking six feet. Maybe 5'10. I think most of the nations are about the same height.

Someone else mentioned this before, and I agreed with them: the nordics, as a group, are pretty damn tall. So Finland and Iceland only look really short because they're right by Denmark and Sweden, who are practically beasts (since Sweden's supposed to be intimidating, I can see him being the second or third tallest in the series).

I see Ukraine being the tallest girl, maybe 5'10. Followed by Belgium at 5'7.

Metric system!anon says Denmark and Sweden are probably the tallest after Russia, with around 185 cm each. Finland is the shortest of the Nordics, somewhere around 168-170.

Germany is around 180 (if I remember well, his height is mentioned somewhere in canon, but I can't be assed to look for the reference. In my head-canon he's still one of the tallest countries) Austria and Prussia are average (173-175) Switzerland is short. Like 165 short, or something like that. The Mediterraneans are all either average or pretty short.

Belarus is the tallest of the girls, with something like 175cm, followed by either Hungary or Ukraine. Seychelles and Taiwan are average for girl height (160-165) and Liechtenstein is really short (145, or something like that)
