As much fun as the rat-slaying thread is, the mini angel on my shoulder told me to do this before I go to sleep.

Little America, you shouldn't go tying up England or anything like that. He's just very busy with important business and he wishes he could spend more time with you but people can't always do as they want. And you should cherish the moments you both do have together because it will seem like a short time when you look back on it. In fact, have a picture of the way it should be.

England doesn't want to kill older you, he only acts mean because... um, he has problems dealing with his feelings later on. And older you teases him a lot. Also, he never meant to bring those rats.

So don't let what you see here get you down, because when you grow up you'll understand it all.

And what's more, killing rats is MY job.

/worst pep talk ever. Yeah this is why I failed at mentoring kids.

England really didn't like those rats either. They plagued him too. Literally.
