part 222 bon bons

Nov 06, 2010 21:43

I was about to make the part name Halloween related when I realized: Mod. Halloween is over.

Also 222! I like saying that. Two two two. Two-two-two. Two-hundred twenty-two. Two two... two.

Enjoy part 222! :)

I kind of had this question about nations in general and well, you're the sanest one of the bunch so...

it's not sexual, I swear.

Oh- Thank you, anon!

What's your question?

...what is it that nations do I mean you guys are around for wars and stuff, but I mean on a day-to-day basis.

We... er, we live, I suppose?
I mean, that's a rather open question, it varies on such an individual basis.

Personally, I've been a student at Tartu University since it opened, but obviously that isn't every nation's idea of a nice way to spend their days, some work, and some just... well, laze around, for lack of a better term.

Thanks! Do er, do the professors ever catch on that you're a perpetual student who never ages?

I try to keep a low profile, but...

Jah, it has happened a few times.

I denied it, and stopped signing up for their classes.
What else is there to do?

Did they think that you were maybe the guy's son or twin brother or clone or something?

I'm surprised they'd remember. I mean, if I saw someone I lived next to never age I wouldn't think it's too weird. But then people say I'm crazy...

Well, part of the problem was that my academic records dated unreasonably far back...
I've since worked with the administration to correct that, though.

Ooooh, noice.

...what do Finland and Sweden do now, I'm curious.

Finland still spends a rather large amount of time tending to his reindeer, and as far as I can tell, Sweden occupies himself with domestic chores and carpentry.

Pfft reindeer.

[realizes this isn't funny]

...when I was little I didn't think reindeer actually existed. Sorry.

I lived where it was hot, okay? And also I never believed in Santa. The only deer I ever saw were the smallish Bambi-type ones, and godfuckit those fuckers are annoying.

[still can't help but laugh a bit. just a bit.]

Alright, anon, I wasn't judging you.
