But I've had yellow hair since I was really little!
And my brother and sister have hair like mine, too and so do lots of other people.

Not everyone does, but it's really common.

Where do you live?

I live in a place that's really really wide, bigger'n this! With lots of sharp grass! An'... an' the sky's always all around, everywhere!

I like in a place sort of like that, too!
But then there's a big city, too and one day I'm going to make it as nice as my daddy had it and fix all the shiny churches he liked so much!

Churches? Whassa' churches? Sounds nice!

I don't got no churches... or no cities. But I don't care! My brother's got cities, real big ones, I heard... but he's mean. I hate him.

That's where you go and talk to God. My daddy liked them a lot and told us we only had to believe in one God.

And why is your brother mean? My little brother is really nice and my baby sister is really cute.

Must be nice to have a brother who's nice. An' a little sister, too. ...An' I dunno why he's mean, but he calls me names an' hurts my people an' an' I hate him.

An' why've you gotta' jus' believe in one god? Everythin's got a god! An' you don't gotta go to no special place to talk to 'em neither! They're everywhere, all the time.

Lots of 'em live in the sky, an' one big one lives there, too.

I'll show you! Churches are really big and they touch the sky so it's like you can talk to God better. And there's only one but he's everywhere all the time, too. I don't know how it works, but that's what he used to tell us all the time.

And you can come and I'll introduce you to my family and I'll make sure nobody makes fun of you. We'll be really nice and we'll try really hard to have a feast!

I don't think the other gods'd like bein' ignored... but I still wanna see churches! Do they touch the sky, really-really?

An' I wanna meet your nice family! I don't got none... and wow, we'll have a feast? I like those lots! ...I don't got many of those neither, though.

It's ok! I'll tell you about all my other gods Daddy didn't want us talking about. They're still around, but we just have to give them different names.
And they do! They're really tall and sparkle in the sun and inside there's these pretty paintings and statues.
And they're really nice! We can be like your pretend family for a little bit, except we don't have a lot to share.

We'll still try to share!
