[Well, I've broken a lot since then, but that's the least of my worries! A lot of crazy things happen around here.]

[it peels off rather cleanly, but the sticky residue remains]

[They're stickers! You peel them off paper and stick them on things to make them pretty!]

[is peeling the sticker off his fingers, sticking it back on, peeling it off again...] Huh... so they're for decoration? [wrinkles his nose] I like 'em, but I don't want to be pretty. Warriors can't be pretty; that's girl stuff.

[wiggles] [Yup! But you don't have to stick them on yourself or other people. You can put them on papers and stuff like that, too!]

[slumps a little] [You don't have to be a girl to want to be pretty.]

On paper, huh...? Ooh, I get it! Like a seal! Man, it'd be great to have a whole bunch, so you could just stick 'em all on letters and not have to use a stamp an' wait for the ink to dry!

[raises an eyebrow skeptically at the last thing Slide "says"] ...You don't?

[I think they make stickers just for that sort of thing! They're usually are just symbols, though, not pictures...]

[Uh-huh! I mean, I'm not a girl, and I like looking nice!]

Yeah, but... you ain't a boy, neither. You don't count.

And a seal ain't a picture! It's, uh... it's your name, and then a bunch of stuff about how important you are, if you're important enough. [traces his Boss' (quite long) seal on the side of the slide with a finger while he's explaining] ...You know where I can get some of these "sticker" things made?

That's a good idea. No-Faces know lots of stuff; I can make one tell me where to get stickers no problem!

[blinks, then looks down at the Slide] ...What d'you mean, sometimes you're a boy?

[Yup, they're really smart! At least, the not scary ones...]

[Uh... sometimes I'm not a slide! If I break, I turn into a kid! It started happening a little while ago.]

Really!? How? D'you know?

[slides down and hops to his feet at the bottom; starts walking around the slide, examining it]

Did somebody curse you?

[slid on, doesn' break!] [but feels a little awkward being examined]

[Uh-huh! And no, I don't really know. One day, I got broke by a bully, and it just sorta happened!]

[shudders] [Gee, I sure hope not!]

Whoa...

[steps back, puts his chin in his hand, and thinks]

...Hey, does breaking you... uh, does it hurt or anything?

[Nope, not at all! I don't really get hurt as long as I'm a slide!]

[stands proudly]

Uh-huh...

[after a few more moments' thought, marches up to the slide, and deliberately grabs onto one of the supports and yanks it at the same time he gives it a hard kick]
