Title Going to the Club
Pairing(s) Any that the participants want to write in, although I can tell you that Francis will be angling to seduce Alfred by the end of the night. Come on, come all!
Rating I’ll go up to any rating, but I think we have a few pretty young RP’ers here, so maybe try to keep it PG-13 or soft R (you can always take graphic ( Read more... )

Canada was bored that night. He didn't know what to do at home at all. The books he had had been already read, the movies already watched, and, besides, he nearly ran out of maple syrup. Kumajirou-san was pretty bored too, so he didn't even talk to poor Matthew.

Jeez, what am I going to do? - he thought. There aren't much interesting things here. So, maybe... I should go to some club? I've been alone for too long, I think And he really went.
That's why this night he suddenly entered that club, walked along and slowly sat down.

"Hi everyone!" - he said loudly, though he highly doubted anyone would notice him, and turned to Kumajirou. This bear has always been with him in every situation.

America only smirked. Not his usual, cheeky smirk. It was more of a sly smile that promised other things somehow.

"Prove it." He mouthed the words, not really finding it worth it to actually say them.

He would have usually raised his thick brows in disbelief, but he couldn't quite co-ordinate his features enough to do so at present. Instead, he adopeted the easier expression of being disgruntled, muttering "Brat!" under his breath, and then leaning over to breath in America's ear, "You wan't me... to *prove* I'm drunk?"

Okay. The cheeky grin was back. Full force, if not more. But he paused for a moment as England's breathe hit his ear, his breathe catching in his throat.

He exhaled, "...maybe."

The funny thing was, America wasn't even that soused. It was one drink, even if he had chugged it. He vaguely wondered if it was weird atmosphere that only comes with clubs. The mass of bodies all moving in sync(or something like it.)

He kind of liked it, though. England kept accidentally bumping into him, and although he felt bad about doing this, he was at least tipsy enough to slowly grind into his body. Hell, this was a club, right?

England's hands, which had still been using America to steady himself, now slipped off of the other's shoulders (he was tall, and England's arms were beginning to ache from having to reach up)settling at America's waist. His timing was still a little off in terms of dancing to the music, but he could hardly tell what song was playing anyway. Sure, he'd loosened up in comparison to before but he still had a sort of awkward grace about him that only a Brit could pull off as he continued to try to dance amid the crowd.

It was odd, but the usual furrow that was permenantly stuck on his face was gone, replaced by a not-quite-there smirk. He hadn't had quite this much to drink for a while, and it gave him the urge to do something crazy.

Canada turned to America who was walking towards him. Matthew couldn't believe his eyes. Did they really begin to notice him, or is it something with Canada's mind? The Canadian punched himself to see if it was true. No, he was awake and sober, so it didn't seem to him.

"America? Oh, I haven't seen you for ages! It is so nice to meet you here!" - Matthew cried immediately, smiling. Canada looked at Alfred and saw his brother together with strange looking England, Arthur's hands at America's waist.

"Wait, is he drunk again?" - the Canadian asked his brother.

England peered around, barely hearing the voice speak over the loud music and caught sight of Canada (why was it that he could always spot him when he was drunk and not otherwise??). One hand running through his already messy hair, he surveyed Canada. "I didn't realise you were here too, Canada! Did that... Pervert Frog... tell you to come here too?"

Canada quickly saw that Englend is looking at him now and became confused. He had always been confused if someone was looking at him,
"Eh,,, Hi, England. No, I just came here by myself. I just felt lonely this evening, you know", - answered Matthew with a shy smile and looking straight at Arthur. - "I really didn't know France has invited someone to come here".
The Canadian looked down at Kumajirou, as if he wanted to ask his Bear for help. But poor Canada just didn't know what to say next, so he smiled again and looked around the room. He sent a loook neatrly to everyone, but he highly doubted anyone had seen it-

England considered this for about half a second before using his free hand to grasp Canada's wrist and pull him into the crowd too. "Then why are you staying on your own?" England grinned. He was still a bit unsteady on his feet but he didn't stumble this time. "Since you're here, you may as well dance too!"

Canada was deeply shocked at such turn of the things. He thought he would spend a sad, but calm night standing in the corner, drinking something and loooking at somebody, and not that, certainly. But, if thinking better, it might happen at some time.
Matthew was so surprised that at first he couldn't speak a normal word and just shouted: "Eeeeeeeh?" Canada nearly dropped Kumajirou, but caught the bear at the last second. The Canadian soon realized he is lost in a big crowd, with England next to him and with loud music hurting his ears.
"B-b-but, England, how can I dance without a dance partner?" - Matthew asked.

England tutted at Canada's hesitance, muttering "We need to get a few drinks in you, for starters," to himself, managing to swipe a couple of drinks from unsuspecting (and unresponsive) dancers, shoving one itno Canada's hands and downing the otehr himself. "You think about this kind of thing too much. Just dance! It's not as though it matters whether you have a partner or not, plus you'll be part of a group" England insisted, head gesturing where Sweden and Greece were next to America. Not that either of the two seemed to be bancing particularly (Greece was swaying, if that counted) but that wasn't the point anyway. Or something. England was too drunk to think too deeply into the matter.

Canada looked very confused. Yeah, England was definately very drunk. In fact, he was more drunk than he had ever been. But, unfortunately, Matthew couldn't do anything at such a situation. He wasn't in contact with drunk people much, so the Canadian didn't know what to do. He just let the thing as it was and did a small gulp of the drink Arthur had given him.
The drink tasted as a normal alcoholic drink, and, it seemed, it was a very strong drink. But the alcohol hadn't started to run through Canada's mind yet, and the Canadian still could think normally.
"Eh, thank you", - he said to England. - "Will you go... eh... dancing with me, or stay here?" - Matthew started to become bravier than he usually was.

England frowned, his alcohol addled brain not completely making sense of the other's words (he'd blame it on the noise though, of course) but he answered anyway. "How about I stay here *and* dance with you?" Then he frowned. "Come on, Canada, you have to have more than that!" He looked pointedly at the glass in Canada's hands - it still had *far* too much left in it.

Canada smiled.
"Well, I'm goning to drink it first than", - he said. Matthew slowly began to drink the liquid from his glass, sometimes looking around. Nobody seemed to care about them, so he drank with confidence. Actually, the Canadian didn't like alcohol a lot, but he wanted to drink that to make England a little happy (well, if he was going to become sad).
"Eh... What's the name of this drink?" - Canada asked.

Sweden looked over at Canada's question, and thought for a moment. He had no one to dance with, Finland and Canada were good friends and both would understand that he only wanted to dance, and Matthew was also lacking a partner. He moved over towards England and Canada and asked: "D'you w'nt t' d'nce w' me?" It looked as if Canada had misinterpreted his question, judging by the surprise on his face, so Sweden clarified. "J'st d'ncin. 's n't 's f'n d'ncin 'lone."

Sweden Translator: "Do you want to dance with me?" and "Just dancing. Is not as fun dancing alone."
