Fanart: Weihnachtschor

Dec 31, 2010 04:59

Title: "Weihnachtschor"
Author: J.J.
Warning: None
Notes: The German version of my 'Coro di Natale'... and, in case Google Translate messed up badly the title, I will truly apprecciate if you'll tell me which should be the right one. I don't speak German, sorry... not even a bit... Thank you morning_ice for giving me the right translation for 'Christmas Choir'!
Disclaimer:
"Axis Powers Hetalia" belong to Himaruya Hidekaz. I'm merely using his characters because I love them...
Summary: ChibiSaxony, ChibiGermany (Holy Roman Empire), ChibiPrussia (Teutonic Order) and ChibiBavaria sing for you Christmas songs.

Night version done for the vigil.

Extra note:

Now this is usually the place in which I put info about history or traditions regarding what I draw... but I know next to nothing about German tradition so, this time, I'll spare you my notes. Of course if you're German and feel like sharing info I'll love you for this!

All I can say you about this fanart is: Saxony and Bavaria had a very quick apparition in the manga. I won't blame you if you missed them (also since there are so few pictures of them I might have made mistakes in drawing them). As far as fancanon goes for me they're singing 'O Tannenbaum', which, as fa as I know, is a German Christmas song. I would have preferred them to sing 'Stille Nacht, heilige Nacht' but this one is Austrian. Also, as far as I'm involved I think Holy Roman Empire=Germany, which is why I said in this pic there's ChibiGermany. If you prefer you can say there's Holy Roman Empire and the Teutonic Order.

chara: germany-bavaria, chara: germany, chara: prussia (teutonic order), chara: germany-saxony, time: 2010, fanart, chara: holy roman empire
