I just wanted to say how much I loved your fic! I hope after the exchange is over that you repost it somewhere else so I can fave it and thank you again properly. I was so thrilled when I realized you went the yuri route. I also got all happy that you had America needing glasses, but not always using them ^_^

You basically nailed what Belarus was at the time on the head to my own knowledge.

I do apologize you got the hardest request I asked for. But you filled it wonderfully. I have to say this is the best gift I have ever received in an exchange.

I'm so relieved and happy to hear this is okay, especially what I decided on for Belarus! And of course I'm happy you liked the whole thing: originally I had wanted to show the Revolutionary War itself, with Tadeusz Kościuszko in action, but as I was researching I got the idea of the first meeting happening in France, and Belarus getting the idea of passing as a man from America. Also, thank you for giving me the opportunity to write female!America, which is something I enjoy but don't do often. :)

(And yes, I'll definitely be posting in a couple of places after the reveal!)

I'm not the requester, but I'd like to comment anyways, I hope that's okay c:

..."coaxing beams of sunlight to her and tangling them up in her golden hair"
^ I enjoyed that line very much, I thought it was beautifully poetic. Your depiction of fem!America is very true to the "American spirit", so to speak; the charm that results from being rough around the edges, idealism and ingenuity all mixed up in one, etc. I thought you did a wonderful job filling this! c:

Oh dear. I have a penchant for rambling. Please excuse me.

Thank you so much, Anon! I was a little nervous about this and definitely appreciate knowing you enjoyed it. And I'm really pleased you picked out that line especially, as it's definitely one of my favorites (if it's allowed to say such a thing).

You didn't ramble at all! Thanks again for reading.
