Job Interview
Had my interview at The Dove. Started with a typing test. I had to type fables by Aesop. finished with 70wpm 94% accuracy. Not bad, but I though I'd do better. The interview was great, I think I'm in. They will call me on Tuesday, as they have interviews on Monday yet. Starting pay was a little lower than I had anticipated, but that's ok. ( Read more... ) -
Help Wanted...
Last night I gave my 2 weeks notice at RSI. Usually I don't like change, but that felt really good. That place was a negligence lawsuit waiting to happen and I don't need to be a part of that. If the clients' families knew what happened in these programs they would pull their family members out of here so fast I wouldn't have time to wipe my ass ( Read more... ) -
I could use a landlord right now...
As of 3pm on Feb 3rd, we had no water. The air temperature was -15F, and our pipes are frozen. Despite crawling under our house twice to position heaters, we were still without water when I left for work at 9:45pm. I did it! I made it until about 9:00 on monday and I didn't get my nap on sunday. That being said, I'll NEVER do it again. Viva la sleep! -
