There are some shows I can't help but keep current on because they are either awesome and compelling (Walking Dead, Game of Thrones), flawless and sweet and make me so happy, (Parks and Rec) or are cute enough and have ships I enjoy (New Girl, How I Met Your

I can't tell if I'm noticing the difference in Community because I know Dan Harmon is gone, or if it really has lost its spark. But I feel it's the latter. I haven't caught up with this season's episodes, so that says something.

There have been some good moments, but the main thing I adored about Community was its amazing continuity and the obvious effort put in. The new guys are trying, but they don't know how to raise this child, so to speak. Someone in my day-to-day life who didn't know all the BTS stuff was bitching to me after the Inspector Spacetime episode about some of the errors and, once I explained the situation and possibly frightened them with how nerdy I am, they got it. I remember when I couldn't wait to watch and watched each twice to catch the little easter eggs. That's just not happening now. There is some fanservice, but it just feels like pandering. :(
