I watched the ep with a room full of fangirls, so we were too busy shrieking and WTF-ing and clutching at each other most of the time for some of the more awful lines to really penetrate, but man. OH MAN. Now, having gotten the full story from my flist I am 200% more fucking disgusted than I was before

It just - UGH!UGH!UGH! - the second they showed her naked on the slab I was already like "oh for fuck's sake, not THIS again!" and THEN Christian starts talking and I realize JUST WHAT HE WAS DOING with the knife and I just felt ill. There is just NO WAY IN SHIT that that scene is okay when compared to, say, the depiction of Dean's torture. VILLAIN OR NO.
It drives me CRAZY how, depending on which writer is working on the episode, Dean is either a) a fairly progressive dude who can be a little old-fashioned but is fairly good to women OR b) a complete and total sexist dickbag. UGH.

Though, I do think (like to believe) Dean's "some time with her first" was meant for them to be consentual. However, however. Since Jimmy's still alive ... well, I suppose it's still some form of rape.
For me, at this point, I couldn't ignore this stuff if I tried. It just jumps out at me these days.
Even if it was meant to be consensual it still bothers me because he was planning to kill her afterward. Like, "please bang my friend so he can get some and then hold still while I revenge kill you." I hadn't even thought as far as Jimmy & Meg's current "meatsuit" wouldn't be consenting which, yeah, would make it rape, too.
