Hi, I was really interested in reading you essay on Racism and Classes within the series.

I've always found it interesting how JKR included such a serious theme in the books, most especially in book 7.

You don't have to friend me back, But I came across the broken link to your essay through hp_essays.

About the Racism and Classes in HP - I think I wrote the essay before the last two books came out, just so you know that the complete canon wasn't included. I should probably go through my entries and make public the ones linked to. I thought I did for most of them, so thanks for posting. I'll get on that soon.

I read your userinfo page and some of the drug stuff scared me just a little bit, but most of your list made me laugh. Mostly that you list that you had clamydia as part of your userinfo. It was so nonsequitur. Plus, I could do with more people having adventures on my friends list. So I'm adding you. =)

Found you through barneyrobin, absolutely loved 1:52am! I, too, am a writer...fanfiction, poetry/prose and the like. I'd love to be friends! I post mainly fanfiction on this journal, trying to get it off the ground/stay disciplined and write more.

I've been really lazy about my livejournal lately because I'm working full time, getting my teaching certification, and participating in National Novel Writing Month, but I read my friends list mostly every day. I don't actually post my fanfiction to this journal, though I do have a link in my sidebar to all the fanfiction I've written (minus those two HIMYM drabbles last night because I haven't gotten around to it yet). I mostly post fanfiction to _scribbling. This is mostly because I have this LJ linked to off my facebook and I don't want RL people to be able to find out what a nerd I am TOO easily. Haha. But nice to meet you and I look forward to reading your writing.

No worries at all! I used to keep up with LJ and even GreatestJournal way back when, and missed the idea of having one. I'm a tumblr addict (youvegotagypsysoul.tumblr.com) and IJ is my more personal hang out, so I absolutely get the whole privacy thing! ;) Added _scribbling as well. Nice to meet you! :)
