A big, warm, slightly buggy HOLA from Costa Rica

I am safely in Costa Rica. I meant to write earlier in the week, but I got really absorbed into reading and taking vocabulary notes on Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire in Spanish. That, and last night I had to prepare for the 40 minute exposition I had to lead today on problems with the US school system.

Hi Heather and Amy!

I didn't know that you two are in Costa Rica!!!! How exciting :) How long are you two going to be staying there? Is this part of your education plan? Is Amy majoring in Spanish too?

We are only staying 3 weeks. I'm here to prepare for a Spanish test that I have to take in order to enter a HS education certification program. Amy is majoring in Speech Language Pathology, but minoring in Spanish.
