A few years ago, while stumbling around southern Chile, I arrived at a back-alley book sale.  I scanned the table, looking for a book I recognized and might want to read in Spanish (to practice, you know?) and I came across this:

I love how inconsistent those are. Dumsbledo. Bumbledore. Dumblemore. Actually! I wonder if it was translated by multiple people at different times? Except you'd expect some consistence within chapters or pages at least.

The best part was that they were all on two pages. I found another where Hedwig is introduced as hedwing and in the next line, they spell it right. They also trend to spell Hogwarts without the s. Lol.

It should bother you, I think. It just reflects laziness and I like to see that effort was put in by the publisher and copy editor. Mistakes happen, but that's why copy editors exist! This book is just ridiculous though. I found probably 50 typos already.
