I had a lovely time on your Gorges and Sault page! Wonderful photos.

My favorite flower shot is the macro of the blue flax (of course). I downloaded the wallpaper. I also like the Master Nougat shot a lot - that door is so whimsical. But my favorite photo is of the very very pink St. Hubert building. Amazing. It's so sharp and the contrast with the blue sky is just wow.

I wish I could help you i.d. those flowers! The unidentified blue ones that you thought might be Romulea look like a kind of onion to me. Have you tried that avenue? (By the way, the Romulea link you provide doesn't work.)

I was thinking of you when I took that flax photo. :-)

I finally found out what the unidentified blue flower was, Aphyllanthes monspeliensis! It's such a wonderful feeling when you finally get it, isn't it? Wonder if Aphyllanthes would grow in California. It's a very pretty flower when it's dotted around.

Interesting. It looks a lot like Ipheion , which I have naturalized in my garden. Turns out Aphyllanthes, Ipheion, and Onion are all in the lily family. Seems like Aphyllanthes should be able to grow here.
