House Unity.

I haven't any problem with House Unity as a concept. I of course have no bias. The Gryffindor students are idiotic. Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw students tend to be idiotic. My fellow Slytherin are not without idiocy ( Read more... )

I was previously unaware that Susan and I did anything at your table bar count down the minutes and seconds until we could leave. By all means, thank you for correcting us on our erroneous assumption.

Seeing as so you're so adept at telling me what I'm doing when I don't know myself, what am I doing now?

I wouldn't pay him any mind, Zacharias. Apparently he sits at an entirely different breakfast table with entirely different Hufflepuffs in an entirely different universe.

I really must let those poor sods know that all they have to do is bring their cat to the table and all is well.

Although he did have a good idea with shoving all cat owners into the same dormitory. I wouldn't mind that at all. When can we do it? Today? Tomorrow?

Oh, true. I'm sure Leto and Ankaa would love some breakfast. I know that Leto, at least, has a fondness for sausage.

That would be quite the motley crew, wouldn't it? I suspect you're only interested because it would be primarily girls.

I must say that the lone advantage of being at the Gryffindor table is that I don't have to put up with you sniffling all the time. However does Pansy put up with it?

I wouldn't have thought she'd notice, as she is generally latched onto you. Perhaps you should be concerned about her paying too much attention to other men. However, I am not one to say. It is good to hear that you are enjoying your mornings, Draco, I'm sure.

Pansy and I are certainly not 'latched' onto one another. We discuss important things that have to do with the future of Slytherin House and how we may best achieve our goals. We simply do not see fit to publicise what these goals are to the outside world. After all, one does not simply announce what they are going to do to everyone. After all, Scarhead and his 'friends' might see fit to break the rules to ensure that they are awarded enough points to win the House Cup if only to spite us.

Of course not. I quite agree that one should not announce what they are going to do to everyone. Nor should they announce certain things, in some cases, to anyone.

The Headmaster is disgustingly biased. They will win, no matter what, I'm sure.

Sadly, yes, we do have to put up with the Hufflepuffs. It's just one of those things, I dare say, like plagues and so forth. At least the ones here are keeping their mouths shut. Well, except for Smith, who just sleeps all the time on the food. I think the most obnoxiously friendly Hufflepuffs are still over at their table. We'd have to ask Millicent and Daphne. Probably both.

It can't possibly last indefinitely. I think Draco and Aurelia would kill all the Gryffindors before then. They'd better not -- I hear that's messy to get out of the carpet, and also, I want to see their faces when we win the House Cup.

That's true. We did not receive the worst of the lot. If there is one thing to be said for most Hufflepuffs, it's that they know the value of keeping to their own kind.

Interesting. Is this assuming Draco manipulates others to do the dirty work for him or not? If not, then I'd put my money on Aurelia tallying up the most heads. Women are more bloodthirsty than men, I think, in many ways.

It's a bit like sheep. You have a few that are different from the rest, and they're the ones who get eaten by wolves. Then you have the ones who just meekly eat the grass in the paddock. They get killed and turned into mutton. Then you have the people with guns and the wolves.

Nah, Aurelia's said she's not going to do anything more to the Weasley brats after she lost points for our house. Draco can always bend the rules into fantastic shapes to get himself awarded points from Snape, though.

He is talented at that, but I think he's more talk than action, as far as actual bloodletting went.

Human beings are like sheep. When they aren't being pigs and vultures.

Or you can keep him.

We'd rather not. We do have a nice rubbish bin he might be more comfortable in, though.

Of course you think it's a good idea to put people in the actual houses, you haven't been forced to wear a different uniform and sit with a bunch of imbeciles. If I had to actually sleep in their dormitories I'd develop a permanent case of insomnia and go mad.

apathetic_nott April 10 2005, 21:44:58 UTC
I haven't. I've yet to go mad in this House, I see no reason that I should go any more mad in another. ... Are they really that bad? They seem able to dress themselves in the morning. I didn't imagine they could be. What on earth do they do that would be so maddening, anyway?

What do you mean, "Are they really that bad?" One of them assaulted me! Of course they're that bad!

So they're feral?
