I love the distinction you've made here.

A couple weeks ago a friend told me that there are three phrases that upon hearing, it is usually safe to assume the speaker doesn't know what he's talking about. That's an awkward sentence, but the phrases were: "Free(dom of) Speech," "Entrapment," and "Bait and Switch." I couldn't help but think of that conversation as this situation unfolded.

You're right, I would never use the term 'right' as a legal term without some kind of caveat. I guess that I lost something in translation.

I agree that a husband should not have a legal right over their wife's decision to have an abortion.

My underlying thoughts on abortion? ... why should men have anything to say about it ... ain't their business. Yet, when the marchers are out in force the men generally outnumber the women ... I don't understand. I'm ready for a nationwide vote ... of women only.
